Serving the food industry since 1919, AIB International is committed to the strictest standards of food safety and conducts rigorous independent inspections, audits, and staff training.
AIB inspections are conducted to evaluate a facility and conformance to processes according to the AIB Consolidated Standards. HBC Packaging is inspected under the AIB Consolidated Standards for Food Contact Packaging Manufacturing Facilities. We are happy to provide official AIB inspection documentation with scoring and certificates upon request. HBC is committed to continued improvement and regular 3rd-Party Audits so that you have confidence that our packaging is produced not only with quality measures but also to comply with industry expectations and government regulations for safe food packaging.
During the annual AIB site visit the physical inspection of the facility and the auditing of documentation takes on average two days to complete. The GMP Inspection evaluates the adequacy of the following operational components:

• Integrated Pest Management
• Adequacy of Prerequisite Programs, Food Safety Programs and Food Defense Program
